SPORTS MASSAGE 

 

Danielle is a Sports Massage Therapist, offering treatments for all.  Massage therapy is not only great for a treat and some pampering, it also has many health benefits including: 

 

- Relieving stress and encouraging relaxation

- Improving flexibility and range of motion

- Helping to manage pain

 

You don't need to be a professional athlete to benefit from a sports massage! Sports Massage is beneficial for all kinds of people, whether you walk once a week or are training for regular events & activities, or even just getting aches and pains from sitting at a desk all day.

 

Sports Massage can be used:

- Pre & post event and training, to aid warm up and recovery of muscles

- As part of your regular training to promote flexibility, help prevent injuries, reduce fatigue and prepare body and mind for the physical activites

- As a recovery aid, with tired aching muscles or specific areas of tension

 

Sports Massage is often thought of as a painful massage, but this doesn't have to be so.  If you have an area of tension or aches and pains then working on this area will probably cause some discomfort but it doesnt have to be very painful to be effective.   Danielle can always massage using less painful techniques to suit you always working towards the end goal of the massage.

Please note Danielle is a mobile therapist, and so will travel to locations on and around Hayling Island to give you a massage in the comfort of your own surroundings, therefore no drive home necessary for you after your treatment, perfect to maintain the good feeling it will give you.  Danielle also can provide treatments during coaching weekends and weeks abroad and so you can maximise your windsurfing time by helping your body relax and recover keeping you ready for the next sessions!
